Reminder—if Trump's indictment was meritless every top criminal defense lawyer in America would be scrambling to defend him. It’d be the case of a lifetime.

But instead they're avoiding him like the plague b/c they know he's guilty & refuse to sink with his ship.

US law holds "when accused of a crime an attorney will be provided if you cannot afford one."

Trump may force a change to, "an attorney will be provided if you cannot afford one OR if you are so unethical no one will take your case."

@QasimRashid There are plenty of reasons not to take #Trump as a client. Just a few:
1) Demonstrated history of being an unmanageable client that sabotages his own case by disregarding legal advice;

2) Extensive history of not paying those who work for him, including attorneys;

3) Tendency for his attorneys to end up disbarred or in prison (even mob boss attorneys have a much better track record on this one) ;

vs. Reasons to take him as a client:
1) You're an idiot

2) The court forces you.
