@draconis I forgot how much fun ChangeReaction is until I played a few games yesterday. It runs on Sonoma, by the way. I did have a few thoughts:
* Could there be a mode with no time limit, where the goal is to beat your previous best time? Time pressure games are good, but I sometimes want the experience of clearing the whole board no matter how long it takes. Less time, fewer moves, or some other way to score/improve, but not a hard time limit.
@draconis
* Could the post-game announcement, audio logo, and other bits be made skippable?
* I'm still a bit unclear on how classic scoring works. The thing about the rows is throwing me off, I think. How do I score a row if I have stacks higher than the row I just scored?
* When coins explode, I sometimes hear an extra sound that repeats. I think 6 is the most I heard at once. What is this sound?
@alexhall Many TTS announcements, as well as the opening logos when you launch the game can be skipped with the Escape key. Your other two questions are actually related. The sound you hear is the coins falling when coins int he middle of a stack have been exploded, leaving an empty spot. Coins above that spot fall down into the empty space. Since that makes the stacks shorter, rows up above have been cleared and scored.
@draconis Thank you for the explanations, that makes more sense. As to skipping, I never thought of escape. I tried enter, space, arrows, control... Never escape.
