Thought we might like a discussion thread, otherwise god only knows were everyone is going to post their hot takes when rice inevitably signs later.
I sort of feel like we're missing the hot takes so... I really don't ahve an issue with chasing Castagne.
He seems solid, the Belgians still play him and literally no one has come out of the Leicester defence with looking good so I'm prepared to say it might not be his fault.
Remember Ramsdale was relegated twice.

I think Lokonga is still gonna be good, we just improved faster than him unfortunately. You don't get made captain at 21 if you're not good. Hoping we send him on loan again next season to get regular game time.

Personally I like the way r/soccer did it which is having it move an hour every day so it starts at a different time each day with threads lasting for 23 hours.

I mean the aircon is nice as fuck but you can't get any outdoors, the heat index thing cuz of the humidity and stuff is making it feel like 38 degrees according to the weather channel rn lol

thatdosbox@vizhal007 @Mijn_Bergkamp it's a bit janky. You find the community by entering [email protected] into the search box on mastodon, then following it.
You then see what's posted in your feed, and can reply to individual posts or their replies. You can't post on lemmy (as far as I can tell) from mastodon.

sensiblepuffinThe problem is that unless people saw the post about Lemmy prior to the blackout, it's not likely that they'd find it on their own... I don't think we're going to see a huge growth spurt over the next few days

I went to the stadium / armoury yesterday to get the new shirt and decided to get the champions league patch on it to celebrate being back after so long out... terrible choice - the queue for shirt printing was over half an hour, they'll definitely have more staff working it when the season starts, but be prepared to wait if you want it done in person!
I'm at the point with transfers that if Edu and Arteta want a player, then that is good enough for me. They have picked out enough talent and made some great signings that I'm happy to just let them do their thing without getting stressed about who/when we should buy.
And anyone who does sign for us, I will cheer and back them 100%.
We've consistently had more hits than misses at this point. Even the misses we might be able to offload and break even. The better the team does, the more it affords us to have a few duds here and there.

Sorry, real life rather rudely intruded oday and I haven't got a Lemmy app.
It's not as slick as reddit but as I still mainly use old reddit it's not too different.
It really shows that for all Reddit tries to make things look cool and add paid for content, what actually makes it special is the amount of people using it. If everyone from r/gunners was on here there's really no reason not to stay here and let reddit die.
