Went to Wright Patterson Air Force Museum this morning, and a thought occurred to me.
With planes that look like Northrop Tacit Blue Whale https://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/Visit/Museum-Exhibits/Fact-Sheets/Display/Article/195769/northrop-tacit-blue/ , or the Lockheed Martin X-44A https://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/Visit/Museum-Exhibits/Fact-Sheets/Display/Article/2386085/lockheed-martin-x-44a/
or countless other X planes on display - Is it any wonder people see UFOs?
UFOs are real, they are made by Lockheed, Boeing, and Northrop.

The 1950s were interesting time...a real "flying saucer" Avro Canada VZ-9AV Avrocar https://www.af.mil/news/article-display/article/110252/declassified-document-shows-real-flying-saucer/

And The Lockheed SR-71A were two of my highlights of the day.... I guess Dayton has had the Avrocar for a while, but I don't remember seeing it..... maybe I have a faulty memory.
The SR-71 has just been a favorite of mine since I was little.

Both have a classic UFO design and look as well 🙂

Declassified document shows 'real' flying saucer

I recall the flying saucer when I visited there in 2012. This was the second visit as I needed my passport for the bus ride to the president's hangar.

@nickb333 It's been there for a while from what the website says, I just don't recall seeing it... We go every 2 or 3 years or so, and maybe it was being restored, or repaired or something. Or as you are aware it's a large museum, it's hard to get to everything in just one day. So we could have just missed it as well.

There were some planes missing that I remember seeing, so I know they do rotate what they have from time to time as well. I guess it keeps it fresh for everyone.
