Just in case anyone was wondering tho:
the anarcho-syndicalist lady who told you "in order to beat the nazis and stop them from boiling us all alive on an increasingly uninhabitable spacerock, we're going to have to end capitalism" is not particularly big on the Democratic Party, or "going back to the way it was that got us here" or you know, capitalist society. I'm just not gonna stop talking about nazis either.
Feels a lot like being told what to say; and I don't like that very much.
'Going back to the way we used to be' or 'going back to better times' sounds very familiar.
Kind of conservative. Regressive. Even... nah, it must be a coincidence.
I'm sure folks just want to go back to the day when white supremacy wasn't openly out in the air and illustrated for everyone to see, when the abuses of the system weren't plain as the nose on your face.
Nothing sinister. Nothing like ignoring historical precedent or anything.
Just... blissful life. Right?
