As (sadly) predicted, Big Journalism -- while apparently trying in some cases to do this right -- mostly continue to treat the Trump criminality as just one really interesting side in a horse race story.

The NY Times and Washington Post coverage, at least some of it, is especially egregious today.

NO, the sitting president isn't trying to do this. If you offer a quote like this, from a presidential history no less, correct the disinformation in it. For the love of god, do better. Maybe the historians were speechless and struggling because they couldn't believe the question was framed as Biden facing a treacherous landscape and not the person who was indicted on 37 counts!
