@Plus_Ultra We need a place to replace reddit. A place where we can discuss #StarCitizen .. lemmy is the mastodon equivalent of reddit.

JeffCraig@anyonas @Plus_Ultra I posted this question on an old reddit thread, but I think you can set up federation to Lemmy from a Mastodon server. It would be nice to be able to register just at starcitizen.name and be able to access both Mastodon and Lemmy.

Don't get your hopes up too much, tho. They may not do it, or it may be too expensive, but a least I asked.
@Plus_Ultra @JeffCraig i did not yet look into the requirements. I’ve got a kubernetes cluster that runs sites, matterbridge and that mastodon relay server. I don’t have room for statefulsets though.
