Normal people have prophetic dreams about like, the coming God, or the End Times or whatever, but me?

I woke up this morning with the earnest directive singing in my heart to: maybe think about getting into voice acting

We'll see how that goes, heh. But I dunno. It does sound fun! Might be neat as yet another side thingy to fall back on just in case.

@glassbottommeg Meanwhile, I had a dream about the Christofascists who have taken over shortwave brroadcasting in the US getting their hoods in a bunch about "an LGBT shortwave station grooming our children". And, in the dream, my immediate impulses were to a) find this broadcast and b) broadcast one myself.

@glassbottommeg omg I've had this exact same idea. Not from a dream but one time I was in a meeting and someone said I had a good voice for NPR / podcast and it broke my brain open. (And it wasn't meant as a “face for radio" joke! [I don't think!]) (Also, hell no I'm not starting a podcast, I'm already a white enough white dude jesus christ)

Also: DO IT

@glassbottommeg
always thought that could be super fun,
keep us posted if you follow up on that 👌
@glassbottommeg I woke up one day with a great plot idea for my webcomic. I was very excited until I remembered that I don't have a webcomic, I have never felt the desire to have a webcomic, and I can't draw for toffee even if I wanted to. Thanks for helping brain!

@TomF @glassbottommeg I can't believe you're burying the lede like this.

What was the great idea for the webcomic?

@planettimmy @glassbottommeg So character A was going to tell character B something, be we know from a few seasons ago in a heavily-memed (out of context of course) comic, that that isn't how it happened. BUT the creator (me) lampshades this new info for a while making people think it's now canon, and then we whip the lampshade off with a very tiny hole through the 4th wall and resolve the whole thing with a time travel episode. It was pretty damn sweet!
@TomF @glassbottommeg I have not heard lampshade used as a verb before
@planettimmy @glassbottommeg That's because you're not an experienced webcomic writer of 8 years like I'm not.

@TomF @glassbottommeg This is one of those new verbs (much like gaslight and bikeshed) where you could not possibly intuit its meaning without knowing the backstory or context of its creation, a bit like Kadir, beneath Mo Moteh.
