I never know what to say when I’m making loud noises to scare away bears in the forest. So I’ve come up with a great idea: I just yell out lines from movies every few minutes.

“The truth? You can’t handle the truth!”
*3 minutes later*
“It is a race! I am winning!”
*3 minutes later*
“You talkin’ to me?”

@tanyakaroli @timrichards @fuzzyduck I used the “Hey Bear” technique when I encountered a bull on Dartmoor. “Hey Cow” and a timid song of “please don’t kill me Mr Cow” meant that I also did not surprise a bull.
