flesh-eating bacteria on beaches

One of many effects of global warming not talked about much is the increase of dangerous diseases carried both in the air and in seawater. Including, yes, flesh-eating bacteria.

"Vibrio bacteria naturally occur in some coastal waters and reach higher concentrations when water temperatures are warmer...can cause a human illness known as vibriosis. Vibrio vulnificus is the species that can cause flesh-eating infections..."

@JohnShirley2023 do you have to? I was just going for a swim 😩
@rood hey man it was a PSA. Check with your local health dept about safest beaches?
@JohnShirley2023 I know. It's just brain worms for swimming is all.

@rood but are they GOOD brain worms or BAD brain worms? Mine are FRIENDLY.

HELLO EVERYONE FROM JOHN'S FRIENDLY BRAINWORMS!

@JohnShirley2023 I think I can out swim them, so they're benign brain worms.
While I didn't mention flesh eating bacteria, this kind of thing, acceleration of pathogens, and their increase, in waters and the air due to climate change, is part of the general setting in my novel STORMLAND.
