Yeah, words and ceremonies of support are nice—thoughts and prayers without the god part.

Actually using your power to do something to intervene in the state sponsored genocide unfolding during your term in office would matter a hell of a lot more.

Instead, you've provided a "kinder, gentler" sports ban for trans kids.

@timberwraith The kinder, gentler would have been easier to swallow if they at least *tried* to block it completely.

I get that ugly compromises will happen. I hate it sometimes but that's the way things work, for better or worse(worse in this case).

But you don't start the fight with your fallback compromise position. You start with your wish list, if you are at all competent anyways.
