@Radical_EgoCom If I may quibble, it’s not just « the two party system », but any electoral system. In most countries in the world there are different voting systems, with the possibility for other political parties to ascend, and the result is always the same, election after election : all those in power, whatever party they are in, always serve the ruling class.
(For many reasons, but mainly 1. massive and systemic corruption of politicians, and 2. the fact that politicians need the support of the media, owned by capitalists, to win elections.)

Even parties labeled as “radical left”, like Podemos in Spain or Syriza in Greece, continue to pursue the same policy as their predecessors, even though they denounced it when they were in opposition !

Elections are not democratic at all and do never give any power to the population. They just give the people the illusion that they have the power, to prevent them from revolting to take it. 😬

@jor @Radical_EgoCom
If voting changed anything they'd make it illegal.

Oh... 🙁

@AlisonW @jor @Radical_EgoCom one order voter suppression, coming right up!
