@RSC137 @marcoarment @siracusa The irony here is someone paying $3500 for a headset but too cheap to pay $5/month for storage. Yea, it’s way overpriced but *you spent $3500 on a headset.*

It’s the American way.

@RSC137 @marcoarment @siracusa today one can buy a 1TB iPhone. Also today you can add 6 people to iCloud family sharing. No money however can buy you more then 2TB storage. I see this message regularly with only 4 family members and average sized devices. I was hoping this WWDC it will change but it is still ridiculous and makes for a crappy experience.
@Robika83 You can get 4TB if you subscribe to Apple One and then pay for an extra 2TB, I believe.
@siracusa thanks John, I didn’t know that. I wish that would work my or me but unfortunately though Apple One is not available in Hong Kong where I live... Will wait and hope I guess
@Robika83 can’t you have individual plans for the family members with large photo libraries while still keeping them part of the family?
@joeri_s I could be wrong but I cannot, though I feel the whole point of this feature is to provide seamless experience for non-tech savvy people like my parents. The other issue is most people have optimise storage on so if i would remove a person, he/she will have no access to full resolution photos anymore. This is how a family friendly feature becomes family hostile simply because Apple’s storage plans do not follow the pace of their hardware
@RSC137 @marcoarment @siracusa along this lines, imagine how jarring it would be for it to crash? It’s like you’d suddenly go blind. I hope they find a way to keep the pass through vision feed a stable process so it doesn’t crash with the rest of the system
@RSC137 @marcoarment @siracusa I was just trying to reach you about extending your home warranty...
@RSC137 @marcoarment @siracusa you accidentally click on a WhatsApp link, scammers not just hack into your phone, laptop, PC, TV and watch but also your vr headset using your ID, all your data with a single access point.
It's so convenient...

“iCloud Storage Is Full. Photos, videos and iCloud Drive are no longer updating.”

then there are two options for the user to chose:

“Upgrade Storage” or “Close”
