While I also have the source material shows (where applicable) it's still fascinating to watch these and see how they changed things around or rewrote entire narratives to fit with the source.

One of the most interesting things is VR Troopers, since the "metal hero" franchise pre b-fighters (which became Beetleborgs) never had a trio, so it's all material from separate shows spliced together with loads of cropping and awkward cuts.(and differences in quality)

So to refresh your memory, the trio was the characters from spielban and metalder in season 1, but then in season 2 it was spielban and shaider, which was an older show so worse quality. i do get it, they were probably not expecting it to make it to season 2

also interesting to see them use more of the suits in the american segments, because i guess they were running out of stock footage.
