I’ve been accepted to speak at @defcon 31! I have a very unique presentation planned for you all:

“Retro Exploitation: Using Vintage
Computing Plaforms as a Vulnerability Research Playground and Learning
Environments”

…We’ll be having some good fun looking at using vintage platforms (such as the 68000 Commodore Amiga) to teach and learn vulnerability analysis. Also applying these techniques to exploring historic software.

I will be dropping 0day (in 30 year old software 😂)

This is in addition to the Ghidra RE workshop I’m teaching at DEF CON (to which I may add a module related to this talk for those of you that attend both)

@mcgrew SIGN ME UP!!
@mcgrew I always thought it’d be cool to run retro CTFs where all internet access is prohibited and bringing in external computers and storage too. Show up, be given a laptop, do it without external knowledge.
@g that would be so much fun!
