Interesting to see some of the people who denied the science of masks for preventing coronavirus transmission suddenly accepting that masks protect us from wildfire particles. It’s clear their stance against masks for #COVID wasn’t based on data, but was due to political beliefs.

How can an N95 mask protect you from fine particulate matter when it only has 95% efficiency (NOT 100%!) of filtering particulate matter smaller than 2.5 microns? YOU MAY AS WELL BE WEARING NOTHING AT ALL! By wearing a mask, all you're doing is holding in all the smoke that gets past your filter, making you even sicker!! The only real way to overcome wildfire smoke is to do more cardiovascular exercises outdoors to strengthen your lungs. /sarcasm :D
