Respect to Linus for the stance. Bigots have no place in any of my communities either.
@gamingonlinux So, anybody who disagrees with the government on anything should be excluded from society?
Why not exclude the mass murderers of the government from society instead?
I have been hacking Linux since the 1990's.
The point is that the government and their stenographers in the media ... the Establishment, we used to call it ... now call all dissent racism.
Even dissenting against Nazi projects like forcing unwilling people to participate in medical experiments.
@timmy @gamingonlinux It is being done all over.
First they justify violence against Nazis ... then they define everybody who disagrees with them as Nazis. If you have not noticed, open your eyes and pay attention.
Establishment loving sheep.
Yes, the ideology of freedom is very important.
That's why I moved to New Hampshire. Their motto is "Live Free or Die'.
Comes from a quote: "Live Free or Die; Death is Not the Worst of Evils".
What is the worst of evils?
Slavery is the worst of evils.
By the way, one does not "uncritically" break with the brainwashing of the establishment. One breaks with the brainwashing of the establishment by being critical.
Those are the reasonable ones.
But the psychopaths who run the government and the public schools encourage you to make many unreasonable ones.
They can't let you think that there is actually an alterantive to being owned by the mass murdering psychopaths who murdered a million people in Iraq, and didn't have the decency to say "OOOps, our bad!".
Free markets do not exist, because of regulations and regulators.
For example, the US market is not free. That's why the FBI drove a tank into my house.
I was selling cryptocurrency.
The banks want their monopoly enforced, so they can continue to milk us like cattle.
So they sent their hired thugs to "regulate" me.
War is not economically efficient.
The only reason that "regulation" is profitable is because those who benefit from it ( "the establishment" ) can use government to force somebody else to pay for it.
In a free market, they would have to pay for their own mayhem. And we would be free to hire defenders that would actually defend us from them, instead of defending them from us.
If it existed, I would be trading in it, instead of on strike.
Regulators are easy to identify. If you make a transaction, and you are happy, and the other party is happy, but some 3rd party comes in and violates both of your rights because they don't like the transaction that has nothing to do with them, those are the regulators.
One could also say "Karens".
