If you remember that H2O has (one of) the highest warmth storage capacities of any material available, then we'll have a warm ocean for a long time.

(heat storage made of stone often is used whenever you have temperatures possibly exceeding boiling or freezing point - otherwise water is the way to go)

i think about the Iberian peninsula a lot.

i think it was years of brutal dought, then recently, terrible flooding? it's probably going to be a rough summer...
