As a former expat (lived in P. Phước Mỹ, Tp. Đà Nẵng, Việt Nam for a couple of wonderful years) after my return to the US I never reacclimated to the toxic nature of the country of my birth. The US is sick. Mark Twain said that travel cures ignorance and Anthony Bourdain said he wished more American's had a passport.

Not until the fear of not changing is greater than the fear of change will any change happen in the US.
