Can't remember a pervasive smoke smell this strong in NYC since 9/11. Uff.

@gregpak I was surprised earlier when I walked outside and it smelled like a campfire. I'd been inside since morning.

@gregpak Here in southeastern PA our county issued a statement to stop calling 911 to report the smoke smell unless there's really a local fire.
