You can always tell the old-school Mac users from the newbies based on whether or not they quit applications entirely when done with an app or merely close the active window.
@snazzyq@marlies I have the accessibility feature that lets one button click keep a menu open so I can surf up and down it without needing to keep the button pressed. Feels great
@snazzyq I’m a relatively new mac user but I still like to close an app entirely, it’s just so annoying and unintuitive how the big red button doesn’t actually close an application
@snazzyq I only started using Mac regularly in the last 6 years, but it depends on what I’m doing if I command+q or just click close. Bigger programs get the full quit, small stuff gets to generally stay open.
