What tools do you bring with you for field or travel sketching?
Joh@naturesketchbook My larger Set - pens, pencils, brushes and everything for watercolours, sketching and more. I usually use a strong bit of cardboard for an easel, ca. DIN A5, with 7-10 pieces of 230+ g/m² paper for sketches and heavier papers for postcards. Small silicone cupcake cup and bottle for water. Two sets of watercolours: one bought (Schmincke), one with home-made (mineral) colours. All quickly rolled up and stashed away in a small linnen bag. Best setup for my #kunstpause
@Kunstpause Oh, this looks like a great kit! Those pencil/brush rolls are really practical, and I like your linnen bag. 🙂
@naturesketchbook Thank you, both are hand-sewn and partially hand-woven by me 
For day to day trips or just "to be safe" I also have a tiny set that fits in my jacket pocket, albeit only black/white with no watercolours.

@naturesketchbook Leider nicht früher dazu gekommen - das ist mein kleines Set, bin noch am rumprobieren, was ich so brauche und überhaupt machen möchte.
Inzwischen hab ich den 0.5er Fineliner Schwarz mit 0.3 Fineliner Sepia ersetzt. Zum üben ganz angenehm, zum colorieren leider nicht so toll.
Könntest du (Sie?) irgendwelche dünnen Reisepinsel empfehlen?
@Kunstpause Das sieht sehr kompakt und praktisch aus. Ich ändere auch immer wieder mal was.
Bei Pinseln nehme ich meist relativ günstige Synthetikpinsel von Gerstaecker, falls ich mal einen verliere, ist das dann nicht so schlimm. Wenn die zu lang sind, kürze ich sie ein. Haben allerdings keine Kappe.
