I've been having fun making images using this new "superblack" backdrop I received recently. This photo was taken outdoors in my garden.

This is the Coral Honeysuckle (***Lonicera sempervirens).***

I'm making this photo public domain for artists (or anyone, for that matter) to use for their work. I'll be releasing more images over the next few weeks.

@jeremyosborn

I hadn't thought of that use for any of the 'superblack' pigments - but, then, i'm Not a photographer.

I love the shot. This would honestly be a cool project to teach artists how to see plant structures for drawing. They seem more cohesive with that background, but also glow a bit from daylight.

Super cool! thanks for the generous permissions!!!

@CrowquillGal Thanks, and yes, I really like how the structure and edges are emphasized and the light is definitely unique.

The backdrop is not the superblack pigment, but it's closely related, and is actually a fabric. Details here: https://www.the-black-market.com/marketplace/mb-fabric-kiwami/#shop
