The first trailer (made of bamboo and epoxy resin) has a milk crate to provide the pivot point and raise the ladder to keep it from hitting the wheels while turning. It's tied together with old tire tubes to give just the right amount of stretch. Probably keep it under 20 and plan that you might have to stop to reassemble your vehicle, but it works!
