@seldo as a former Lyft driver, I’d ask this particularly late at night so that I’d make sure I’m taking women & other queer folks on a route they were comfortable with and knew, if they had a preference.
“I’d normally take the post road to X Ave to Y Street but if you’ve got a way you think is best at this hour I’ll take that instead”
The stories I heard about some other drivers were horrifying.
