StacyA friend of mine is getting divorced. She's been married for 32 years. They married straight out of high school. I can't imagine the culture shock she'll go through. She's never lived on her own. Ever. I'm helping her find an apartment this week.
David Bivens@dancinyogi Wow. Sorry to hear what she's going through. A good friend went through a similar breakup several years ago. Her ex-husband was a serious control freak (aka jerk), so she knew little about things most of us consider mundane: banking, taxes, utilities, insurance, basic bookkeeping, auto registrations, etc. It's really good you're helping her. I wish y'all the best luck with it—and thanks for helping a fellow traveler on the journey of life!
