Last week a bill passed the House & Senate to:
•End student debt relief
•Force people to pay interest cancelled due to pandemic
•Reinstate 260K+ already cancelled student loans owed by educators, nurses, first responders, & public service workers

Biden will veto, but this absurd attack on working people is the GOP’s focus—all while protecting their precious billionaire donors. Vote the GOP out.

*(Unsurprisingly Manchin, Sinema, & Tester voted with the GOP).

@QasimRashid we have to get the people who work to promote division and anti-democracy out of Congress starting with those fuckwads.
@QasimRashid
I’m surprised by Tester. WTF?
@QasimRashid well sinema is not (and never was) a democrat. She's just a skin-tailed crook and liar
@QasimRashid Sounds Wow. Sounds like 2024 Democratic candidates have campaign speeches being written for them by the "Make America Broke Again" GOP.

@QasimRashid There are THREE #Republicans in #Democrat clothing now ???

How do you #Americans stand for this kind of Political Mockery ???

Have a by-election and let the voters elect a TRUE DEMOCRAT... Good God...........

I would be fuming if any of those 3 losers were my reps...........

@QasimRashid How did this pass the Senate? How is it that I haven't heard about this until reading your post? Geez.

@QasimRashid

Doubtful. In the last few years I've read about a lot of thing GOP controlled states have done to basically silence opposition. From gerrymandering to culling voter registries to handing power of elections to biased courts.

Hell...both sides of my state legislature said no to license plate cameras...but a government entity said we're getting them anyway.

We the people are fucked. There's no stopping this without horrible things. That path is clear. We're down it.

@QasimRashid Let's stop calling the "GQP" anything except the "AAP" or Anti-American Party. Because that's what they are.

@QasimRashid
DROP the GOP

Then change the rules to encourage more participation by more parties, because the “two-party system” was already too close to a one-party system

@QasimRashid Yeah, anyone who thinks the Democrats control the Senate isn't paying attention.
