Listen to republicans

Abstinence works.

@flexghost Plot twist... Her soon-to-be ex-husband, Jayson, is actually her father!
@flexghost this actually creates quite a bit of empathy from me for her. She's gone through a lot. Her views are not my own, and her strategy is not appropriate to her office. But she's human, and it's been rough for her.
@themostroom @flexghost If she were a child, I’d be empathetic. There are many productive ways to resolve childhood trauma, and yet she uses none of them and, instead, spends her time spewing stupidity and hatred. No empathy at all.

@themostroom she put her children through abusive childhood, she took the phone away from her son when he called the cops afraid for his life

but go ahead and join the Boebert fan club

@flexghost @themostroom

That's not what was posted. One can dislike a person and still understand that person.

My first thought was, "that's a terrible back story, it had to have neen hard."

But my second thought was "how didn't she overcome it, seek help for the trauma and be better than her history? Instead, she's just an awful person.

@Sfwmson @themostroom for real that’s your argument? That’s not what was posted? So you get to ignore reality and keep your head in the sand for every post?

Thanks for 2016, moderate

There’s a literal war on trans children, LGBTQIA people, people of color, education, and our entire economy, and your argument is that it’s not what was directly posted?

Much like you, there is a character limit

@flexghost @themostroom

Yeah, I don't need you to make such broad assumptions. But thanks for showing me who you are. Bye.

@flexghost @themostroom I'm no fan of assholes like Boebert. But on one hand it's important to understand where they come from, and on the other, there's schadenfreude in seeing their hypocrisy laid out in detail.

@oclsc @themostroom me:
Child abuse is bad. You shouldn’t take the phone away from your child when your husband is beating your child up. Also, attacking LGBTQ citizens with horrible legislation is bad.

You: Nuh uh.

@flexghost @themostroom Someone: here's some background about how Boebert came to be such a slimeball.
You: how dare you defend Boebert!!
Me: I don't defend the asshole but it's good to understand her and to expose that she's a bullshitter.
You: how dare you support child abuse and lots of other shit you didn't say but I'm determined to claim you did!
Me: bye bye, little troll.
@flexghost Another perfectly formed piece of shit representing the "best" in GOP family values...

@flexghost And she always needs to have a gun on her, wants guns around her house, wants her kids to have guns. Her restaurant was gun-themed, had her wait staff carrying guns WHILE WORKING.

Now it makes more sense.

Tragic.

@flexghost Some folk just love to stay ignorant
@flexghost and yet, still made it to Congress!
@flexghost Well.
Dad Gumm It.
Another Short Sighted F00l Person.

@flexghost I attended high school between 1976-1980 and I graduated and was awarded my diploma from New York State. I remember health class during my junior year which included [i]sex education.[i]Yes, I learned all about male and female reproductive anatomy from Mr. Busch. The pictures were artistic drawings from a medical school textbook. We were also taught about sexually transmitted diseases and the proper use of condoms *cough* *cough*. 🙄

No Playboy, Penthouse, or X-rated movies though. 😇

During my 4 years in high school, I remember only 2 girls getting pregnant.

As for me, I can proudly say I haven't gotten a single girl pregnant. I'll leave it here before my big mouth gets me into trouble.😜

@flexghost
First you’ll have to define ‘abstinence’ to her.
@flexghost This: "subjected her kids to abuse" struck a chord with me. It isn't so easy to leave an abusive situation. Sometimes leaving makes things worse for the kids. It did in my case. But at least I'm alive. My son didn't make it.
@flexghost the Boebert family loves to experiment with all the different firepower of all the weapons in this world.

@flexghost

If there was ever a poster child for empowering women through full bodily autonomy including birth control and abortion...she is it.
