President Biden, in a national address from the Oval Office, says the bipartisan budget agreement is vital to keeping the full faith and credit of the country and is a "crisis averted."
"No one got everything they wanted but the American people got what they needed," President Biden tells the nation.
"I want to commend Speaker McCarthy," adds President Biden. "Both sides operated in good faith."
President Biden says he'll sign the #budgetdeal bill tomorrow (Saturday).
President Biden, in a live televised address, says "more Americans are working today than ever in the history of this country."
"We're going to do even more to reduce the deficti" and control spending, says President Biden in a national address from the Oval Office.
"Right now the average billionaire in America pays just eight percent in federal taxes," according to President Biden. "No billionaire should pay less in federal taxes than a teacher or firefighter."
"Lower the temperature," says President Biden of the domestic political bitterness.
"May God bless you all and may God protect our troops," says President Biden in conclusion, after thanking people for taking the time to listen to his address.
