What are the odds this xrOS/Reality Pro stuff allows non App Store software installation? To me seems hard to justify a lockdown on a $3k "Pro" product.

@paul will they repeat their iPhone launch pattern of it being entirely locked down, followed by App Store availability, followed by a submissions process? I cannot remember for how long the first iPhone was limited to the factory installed Apps.

@foxus @paul it was a feature of iPhoneOS 2.0 with the release of the 3G, so 1 year. That said, I don’t think they would try and get away with that again. This thing is going to needs apps.
