@voidspace I see you're based in SE London, Tim. The London jazz - hip hop scene is I think maybe the most interesting in the world--so it's me that's jealous. Plus you've got Gilles Peterson. I'm in Canada, so I'm living vicariously.

Yes. I love Jazz. Both my sons are | were very into Hip Hop. they both good guitarists and are more into metal now. But we're all incurable Dan Fans 😆

@voidspace Yeah, every generation seems to speak Dan-ish. But I look at a British musician like, say, Alfa Mist, and he's combining genres in an interesting way. Richard Spaven & Mathew Halsall are a couple of other British players that come to mind. Halsall is more straight-up jazz. It's a great scene in the UK.
