Hey, fellow ham radio operators! Who out there is looking to connect your repeaters to a network that is by and for the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies? Full time, part time, doesn't matter. We're always looking for more repeaters to add to our network. See https://prideradionetwork.weebly.com for more information.

Pride Radio Network

@KJ7OMO I live in an area with literally no repeaters close enough to establish another. Other than the 7m, 20m, and 40m bands with the beeps and boops I'm out of luck.

Does the web transmitter work all the time? Or is it only activated for the nets?

@j4yc33 it is always active, though I would have to manually create a login for you in order to permanently grant you transmit permissions.
@KJ7OMO I was just hoping to listen for a bit. I'm reluctant to ask for permission to use a radio I didn't build or have no experience with :)
@j4yc33 our web transceiver is different. Instead of connecting to a radio, it connects directly to our network backbone. Anyone can listen without permission needed, but to be able to talk requires a callsign and a login to be created.
@j4yc33 it's probably much easier if you use Zello to connect to our network, since the web transceiver sometimes will need some fiddling around to get it to work properly.
