Peeble streamer on Doop 🟥🟨May 30, 2023

This is Alfie, a,gentle soul, who got on well with other dogs, except west Highland terriers for some reason.

He was so good at waiting to cross the road, he would go out with me, when I would go running, he'd be off the lead and wait at every road, for me to okay crossing.

One day I was over the road on the big field, giving him a run about, when he must have got bored, then trotted over to the zebra crossing, waited for the cars to stop, and crossed the road and went home #DogsOfMastodon

@digby oh, sadly this is from a few years ago, Alfie ended up being put to sleep about 8 years ago, as he had a damaged back and lost the use of his back legs, and we couldnt afford the 3-4 grand, for the surgery.

@Wildheart_Baby I understand losing a good dog. Time takes us all, but happy memories provide some comfort and reinforce the joy you had together. Thank you for sharing one of Alfie's stories.
