so we want different things

but i do think that w/in the constraints of his political paradigm

he genuinely means well

and that matters

it would matter even if he weren't up against fascists

but it especially matters in that case

Joe & I disagree on a lot

but he honestly seems committed to keeping me and mine from being killed

and all things considered i'll fucking take it

No politician is your friend. The bad ones hate you or will exploit you.

The good ones, even TRULY good ones, have to make very hard decisions that may hurt you, though it's not personal.

But the good politician isn't actively trying to destroy you at the very least, and you and others may actively benefit.
