Last post about my beat poetry dub jazz inflected bedsit lofi ravings, irobot, for now, as the sanctified 24 hour media blitz period is coming to an end...

It's currently one listen away from 50 which is unprecedented, it's second only to Exploder in the last 12 months.

One or two people have even liked and reposted it!

If you haven't heard it already, why not have a listen and see what you think

@radiophobicsherkpop Like it. Followed you over on SoundCloud. Your voice is not the same as his, but your delivery/cadence reminds me of the PWEI frontman.
@Weru thank you! I wasn't thinking of PWEI but I've listened to them a lot over the years so their stuff has been buried in my brain waiting to show itself no doubt

@radiophobicsherkpop I've not listened to 'em in awhile now. Will have to dig some out.

Digging "Bludgeon Yourself Into Submission" by the way.

@Weru oh cool! Three volcas and a microfreak, it's a bit easier on the ear than Morlock that's for sure

@radiophobicsherkpop I have some Volcas (FM, samples, bass) Didn't really know how to use 'em when I got 'em.

Have a slightly better grasp on step sequencing now, but only slightly, so should prolly have another go.

@Weru I've got samples, nubass, the mix and the modular (not used in bludgeon), I don't have space to have them all out and plugged in ready so it's kind of a once in a blue moon situation for me, but it usually gives me new ideas for things to do in cubase at least

@radiophobicsherkpop I have the mix too, but trying to learn more than one at a time, as an electronic music newb, was proving difficult so I figure if I try again I'll go one at a time.

Heard a lot of good stuff about the microfreak, seems very popular with the YouTube synth peeps.
