@GovTrack I think this bill also eliminates other outdated language, like replacing the "president's wife" with the "president's spouse.". I'm glad #Pocan is working on bipartisan housekeeping efforts, not just hot button things that get a lot of attention.

@cgervasi No that was a separate bill that became law in 12/22: https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/117/hr3285 But you’re correct that Rep. Pocan has a standing interest in updating federal terminology.
