If the people signing this document https://www.safe.ai/statement-on-ai-risk about "AI risk" were serious, they wouldn't keep building these systems and selling them (actually renting them out) on the open market.

@tante Like most, the signatory list is basically an archeological site. The deepest stratum is advertising, next come the useful idiots, followed by various migratory cultures, etc. It's mostly Americans, who've never been very sharp when it comes to sniffing out affirmative critiques.
