Does the @EU_Commission realize that #ElonMusk does not care if #Twitter is fined for not following the rules‽ Musk is not even paying rent in the buildings he is leasing!
When the #EuropeUnion 🇪🇺 fines Twitter, Musk will probably layoff Twitter employees in #Europe out of spite, & maybe ban #European accounts on the bird site too.

Ignoring the fines makes it worse. The EU can basically suspend the service or more or less take over a company

#ElonMusk is ignoring US laws & policies when it comes to honoring fiduciary contracts (not paying rent, contractors & partially paying severance pay).
I doubt #ElonMusk will comply & (falsely) accuse #Europe of censorship when the fines are levied.
@JohanEmpa I can see countries like #Germany 🇩🇪 blocking #Twitter, but I doubt the @EU_Commission has enough consensus region wide to pull it off (as some countries like #Hungary 🇭🇺 will object).
That said, I expect #ElonMusk to appeal any blockages via courts, which can take years to resolve.
