Eshu Marneedi@snazzyq Personally don't mind subscriptions if they're cheap and/or it's an app that I use a lot. I understand subscription fatigue, but usually the people complaining about subscriptions are just trying to cook up an excuse for why they don't want to pay for an app.
Fabian@EshuMarneedi @snazzyq I think is about accessing stuff you created in the past an you then cannot access anymore because you stopped paying.
David Ball@faiss @EshuMarneedi @snazzyq This is why I lean towards apps where standard formats are utilized such that lock-in does not occur. I use Ulysses, but looking elsewhere for open portability.
