@juddlegum Don't get too excited, though, it's fairly unlikely the state Senate will muster a 2/3 vote to uphold Paxton's impeachment. Unlike the more "moderately conservative" House, the Senate includes a lot of fall-off-the-cliff Trumpian wing nuts such as Paxton has cultivated for years for protection. These include LT. Gov. Dan Patrick and Paxton's own wife, who ought to recuse herself from the vote but, I'll bet, will not...
