We honestly need another stonewall, if not now, then sometime very soon.
It's sad that we need to riot just to guarantee our rights to fucking exist. But if that's how it has to be, so be it.
@hiden honestly I feel too fucking scared to come out to my parents because of shit like this. And every fucking time I go on TikTok or YouTube, a state passed this anti-trans bill. If I had a dollar for every time one of those bills were passed, I’d have enough money to get the fuck out this shithole and go to Canada.
@Forzafan456_official @hiden Yeah I can agree to this. istg every time I go on Tiktok after 5 minutes of scrolling I get 3 videos of something related to transphobia in the United States. It's gotten bad to a point where EVEN IN COLOMBIA those videos are pretty common.
@ItsCatfy @hiden and the comments half the time are 12 year old “sigma” kids who think being hateful is fucking cool.
@Forzafan456_official @hiden At this point I'm surprised latinamerican countries are more LGBT-supportive than northamerican ones. For example Colombia is in the list of countries that are the most supportive in the entire American continent.
@ItsCatfy @Forzafan456_official More supportive than Canada? They're probably *the* best country when it comes to that, and it's sad that they border Cheeseburgerland.
@hiden @Forzafan456_official probably not more supportive than Canada but you get my point
@ItsCatfy @Forzafan456_official Yeah. I've heard good things about SA countries, especially Argentina and Colombia (in terms of LGBT acceptance and rights that is).
@hiden @ItsCatfy and those anti-trans bills as of now have never been passed in my state but it’s so damn expensive to live in.
@Forzafan456_official @ItsCatfy As is most good states (NY in some areas is actually pretty cheap), honestly. That's probably why it's so cheap to live in shitty states; no one sensible wants to live there.
@hiden @ItsCatfy Not including u, I have NEVER met a person who tells me “Yo I’m from Arkansas.”
@hiden @Forzafan456_official Here the price depends on your healthcare provider, most people do it with Coomeva iirc. Except in my case I could do it for free because my dad's job provides him, me, my sister and my mom free healthcare (in my and my sister's case until we're 25) :p
