@sqlchick ha! Those are from Raleigh Rose Garden. amazing little place. I have skipped the bird feeder this time and don't miss the noise. Way too many to entertain. Mockies are quiet so far ,am grateful.
@sqlmal We have 3 bird feeders in the backyard, but mockingbirds don’t hang out in our yard for some reason. I’m not complaining though…little bullies they are.
@sqlchick They are not the only bullies here. There is the orange-tipped blackbird, the mourning dove, and blue tits. They are all that way and they can't stand each other.Beauties but there is way too many around to share foods human put out.
@sqlchick I opened the door once to see an *army* of blackbirds descending on the feeder,there may have been like 50 of them,at one time.And a raucous fight broke.And the yard was full of smelly poop.There are too many.
@sqlmal I don’t think we get the blackbirds, but we do get crows sometimes. Usually just a couple at a time. They’re so large but the other birds & squirrels know they aren’t predators…which I always find very interesting.
@sqlchick Crows are among the best behaved of them..@SQLAllFather would likely agree.
