Yes, but.

Look at North Carolina.

Federal $ to rebuild beaches.
Reject reports predicting sea rise.
Subsidizing wind insurance

And FEMA: why are we still rebuilding instead of relocating? We need new floodplain maps.

Our species is very shortsighted. 🙁
