@mattferrell when I see stories like this I wonder how people handled the transition to the current thing...fossil fuels in this case
Were there economic, social, political struggles that had to be overcome? Was there a be tipping point where it's finally became the norm? Etc
However, I don't know what the dominant energy source was before oil. I am thinking it wasn't just one main source
