@interfluidity in the case of Tesla it should be called kamikaze pilot. They definitely enabled that in hands off mode too soon.

I watched one of those little delivery bots navigate a sidewalk yesterday. It just SAT there at an intersection trying to figure out how to cross a street. I assume it was calling in for human guidance and all the remote drivers were busy, because it did not move until I was out of sight of it.

Can a robot get a jaywalking ticket? It can't push the button...
