Ordered a Keychron Q10 (Alice Layout) in Navy Blue with Gateron G Pro Red switches. Hoping it works out for me, just enough ergonomics without any wireless crap.
@frigidcode
I had a keychron for a long while! It was a great keeb.
@paulyd What are you using now? I think I knew but clearly I don't lol
@frigidcode
I spent way too much time and money building a kbd75 v3.1 with a split space and stepped capslock!
@paulyd That is one sweet keeb, picture?
@frigidcode I quite like it, no regrets.
@paulyd looks great! I'll have to join the baller USB cable crowd soon.
@paulyd @frigidcode what’s the trick behind split space?
@szajbus @frigidcode I like it because it gives me 2 extra keys within easy reach.

This keyboard uses QMK which is a programmable firmware on the keyboard itself, so any re-maps / layers are persisted across computers without installing software (because the keyboard itself is actually sending whatever keycode, which is awesome if you have multiple computers or an incredibly locked down work computer where you're not allowed to install software or remap keys)

I use the FN button in the middle as a "up one layer" and the right space as "down one layer" to easily swap kb layers without moving my hand a lot.
