COVID is still killing 1 person every 4 minutes globally. Just because leaders are no longer calling COVID an emergency, doesn't mean COVID is over. #COVID has transformed into a long-term permanent threat.
IAG@luckytran Yeah. I've always joked about how the higher ups (in both work and government) essentially said "Alright, pandemic's over, get back to work slackers." I think the news cycle (which rapidly shifts from topic to topic so that people get disoriented) is partially to blame for this.
