Trans people have a right to exist and participate in society. This shouldn't be controversial.
@parkermolloy Sure, but let me flip to the NYT editorial page to get BOTH sides of the issue. I don't want to be unfairly biased against the forces of oppression and terror.
@parkermolloy that the fight for human rights,equality and for personal safety is still going on is a travesty. Freedom is freedom it should come with no strings attached
@parkermolloy I think deep down, everyone knows that. But politicians need a moral panic to allow them to distract their constituents from legislation that sets an incredibly dangerous precedent. Before trans people, it was sam sex marriage, Video Game Violence, the Satanic Panic of the 80s, Hippies, Civil Rights, Elvis's "Rock and Roll", Communism, Women Voters, Prohibition -- the list goes on. It's why they love war so much. It's hard to be on the wrong side of history when you're "at war."
@parkermolloy
This is Fascism..
And they want to kill as many of us that they perceive to be different as they can ......
@parkermolloy “Nazis are bad” didn’t used to be a controversial statement either.

@parkermolloy +9001%

People should get smacked with the shoulder stock of a rifle for even "debating" this human right!

@kkarhan @parkermolloy narrrrrrr 💀💀💀
@parkermolloy normally they would, but you see we have this climate change going on, and we need a good enemy to hate on, so people forget to execute the true criminals, the filthy rich capitalist men. It’s nothing to do with trans people themselves and everything to do with diversion, media and scapegoating. People have a lot of anger, so the capitalist pigs create a conduit for idiots to direct their hate to people who have nothing to do with the current state of misery.
@prettyhuman @parkermolloy haha,to everyone who wrote a comment saying hello from Iran. Human rights is just a bitter joke!
@parkermolloy Folks who hate other folks because of their differences and diversity really can’t accept themselves. They hate themselves and they project that onto others.
@parkermolloy as a public servant in #Canada, we would often say that #2SLGBTQIA+ people are an equity-deserving group of the public that we serve. That is, trans people are who we serve, if we serve the public. I know Canadian federal law or policies don't affect American politics *at all* but I often think about how things would be different in the USA for trans people if they had The Charter and laws against frivilous, vexatious, or abusive use of the law.
