Too many miss this part.
The Bible is a set of ancient rules describing how to avoid being burned alive for eternity by an angry, petulant god.
The Constitution is a lens for looking forward, and a tool for protecting freedom as society evolves and expands.
They are, at their cores, opposites, which is why their separation is so critical.
The Constitution gives us freedom of religion, it also gives us freedom from religion.
