Fine if they want to pretend reality isn't real for themselves, but they do not have the right to impose their ideology on others.
Jamie Booth@Npars01 @morganalafee @GottaLaff actually, it's not fine. As a citizen, I need other citizens to have a baseline of knowledge about things. It's how we coexist. It's not a high bar, but saying things like "you can't learn about racism or civil rights or LGBTQ people" doesn't clear it.
I have to interact with these children and they will eventually be running things while I'm still alive. I'm ok with parent input as to how and when but not a veto.
@jamie @Npars01 @GottaLaff And I agree……education, information, theatre, poetry, movies and exposure to life!! in more than the local neighborhood helps develop and prepare children for their place in society….. how can their parents be so short sighted….. to rob their children of life experience…. Cowards!!!
